Daytona Beach Boat Show

Presented by the Marine Industry Association of Central Florida, the show began Friday and wraps up today at Daytona International Speedway. The boat show begins at 10 a.m. and features more than 80 boat builders who represent a wide variety of boats, including jet boats, pontoon boats, bowriders, center consoles, deck boats, fishing boats in fresh water, surf boats and more. There are also vendor stalls and live music.

This is what racing fans have been waiting for: the start of the racing season. The Roar serves as a dress rehearsal before the Rolex 24 as some of the best drivers in the world take to the track. The action begins Friday, January 21 and continues through Sunday, January 23 at Daytona International Speedway.

‘Wait until nightfall’

A masterful and tense thriller, the play from the City Repertory Theater in Palm Coast tells the story of a blind woman who is terrorized by a group of criminals as they search her home for a doll stuffed with heroin. Known for its jaw-dropping final scene, the play is based on the hit 1967 film starring Audrey Hepburn. Performances are scheduled for January 21-23.
