Brunswick – Lund Boats Wins NMMA Innovation Award at Progressive Minneapolis Boat Show

NEW YORK MILLS – Lund Boats, a division of Brunswick Society (NYSE: BC), and an industry leader in designing fishing boats renowned for their performance and durability, received a 2022 Minneapolis Boat Show Innovation Award from Progressive Insurance in the category aluminum fishing boats for its redesigned Lund Renegade model.

The Innovation Award recognizes groundbreaking new marine products and honors manufacturers and suppliers who bring innovative products to the boating industry. This year’s program evaluated a group of entries featuring outstanding products among aluminum fishing boats, fiberglass fishing boats and pontoon boats.

The winning Renegade model features a redesigned Mod-V hull offering improved performance and stability in big water; the updated design also features two rear jump seats – an industry first in the Mod-V bass boat class.

Available in three sizes – the refreshed 1775 and 1875 and the all-new 1975 – the Renegade Mod-V is designed for bass, crappie and muskellunge fishing. The Renegade features the industry’s first four-seat cockpit design with two aft jump seats (available in 1875 and 1975 models); a large casting deck fore and aft with ample storage space; a redesigned Mod-V hull slightly sharper at the bow and flatter at the stern for shallow draft and fast performance; waterproof storage for rods, gears and tackle; a redesigned console with optimized electronic placement and is powered by a 50 HP – 150 HP Mercury Marine outboard motor offering award-winning performance and durability.
