After a day filled to the brim with activities on Saturday, the first-ever boat parade on the West Branch of the Susquehanna River and a performance by Aaron Kelly wrapped up Best of Clinton County on Saturday night. More than a dozen boats participated in the parade, organized by Downtown Lock Haven Inc. and member Roz Rebarchak, each decorated with a particular theme. A bathtub-themed boat, owned by Dave Williamson with Alan Madia, Missy Madia and Melissa Grove on board, won the golden propeller and a case of Miller Lite – courtesy of Bald Eagle Beer Distributor – as favorite ship fans. After the boats all docked near the floating stage of the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheater, Kelly kicked off her performance with a song titled “Pontoon.” Due to high winds, the lighting of the lantern, which was to take place during Kelly’s intermission, has been postponed to a later date.
